CASING RUNNING TOOL TETHER (CRT TETHER)
The CRT Tether is designed to prevent your Casing Running Tools (CRT) from falling should the CRT tool joint become disengaged from the top drive quill. The CRT Tether is installed on the CRT and secured to the top-drive with wire rope cables. The design allows the Tether Cage to swivel around the CRT permitting normal function of the CRT while installed.
